Condensation on windows is a problem for me too, although almost
never in the room with the stove where the humidity is lower than I
would like--perhaps because any condensation quickly evaporates,
humidifier or no??. Rather it's a problem particularly in our
bedroom where we leave the windows open at night.

Long term the effect on the windows is not good because it's going to
require time consuming varnishing to fix. I've been using an
exterior marine varnish. After four years the trim at the bottom is
gray from the water. Sacie
