[Greenbuilding] [BULK] humidyfiers

There are two small portable types - one that makes steam, which is
relatively inefficient, and one that makes humidity by spinning water
around, much more efficient. You can pick up either one for a few
bucks.

There is another portable type that pulls water through a wick via a fan
- which puts the room air dirt into the wick part and then gives it
water to grow on - I have never liked these.

There are of course whole house humidifiers which are a whole nuther
subject. The small portable ones are cheap, we've run one of the
spinner types for several winters.

We also keep a pot of water on the wood stove most of the winter, which
satisfies most of the need.

Any suggestions for good energy efficient humidifiers? Sacie
