<Harry Thomason cooled
his Wash DC house by trickling water over an asphalt shingle roof at
night in the 1960s. He said the shingles spread the water out nicely
into a sheet. It might be close to the night wet bulb temp, or cooler,
with night sky radiation on a still clear night. Water under rocks might
be closer to the dew point.>
very interesting--was Thomason using tap water, I wonder, and if so,
recirculating it?
For that matter, Nick, can you refer us to a more detailed brief on this
house?
Thanks-
