Hey, Greenbuilders,

Have any of you had experience with Enviroshake and/or Authentic Roof?
Are they all they're purported to be?

I had installed an Authentic slate looking roof on a straw bale visitor
center in Clayton NM about 6 years ago. It has withstood extreme winds
(over 80 mph sustained) and horrendous hail (which broke windows and
damaged trucks) very satisfactorily. It seems to be standing up to the
NM sun well also. Oh, and there aren't any leaks. So far, so good. It is
many $$$, though. I've since used steel roofs instead, for that reason.
