Go you. I really wish I could follow suit, but I have plenty of places
which can't be reached by a truck or other generator equipped device.
And although I do have a crosscut saw, my problem is finding someone to
sharpen it (or heck, teach me how to sharpen it), as it hangs it won't
cut butter. Anyone know someone who does in midcoast Maine?
I call my Stihl, Mr. Evil, someday I may get it emblazoned on the top.
Reminds me of things best not forgotten.
I found a great place to get sawdust for litter. A local lobster trap
building place has a huge pile of fine oak sawdust. They must build a
lot of traps given how little wood is in a modern lobster trap and the
size of that pile. Damp sawdust seems to work better for me than dry.
We will see in two years how it comes out of the compost pile.
Thank You Kindly,
Corwyn
