[Greenbuilding] "Green data entry" and some other small opportunities for Rate It Green.

Let me know if anyone out there would like some extra work doing green data
entry. No, it's not green typing! I need to pretty much find all the green
products and services out there for our website's database. We list all
green products and services for free, and then we'd like people to rate and
review them so we can all share information and shorten each other's
learning curves. We have about 1500 green products so far, but my interns
went back to school and we didn't even really get going on services yet.
Companies can put themselves in the system and add more content, but the
site can act as a basic directory even if we let people know that the
products and services are out there. And these basic records also serve as
a placeholder so people can discuss and rate the items. Our goal is really
to list everything sold as green!

I also have a pretty cool marketing project that entails contacting green
retailers.

And a pretty cool research project that involves mapping some green building
industry resources so that people new to green building don't have to start
all their research from scratch.

I'd also like to speak to anyone who feels really confident about knowing
how to reach out to the green building industry to tell people that the site
is up and ready for ratings. I have done some marketing, but not enough.

All of this work relates to Rate It Green. You can check out the site at
www.rateitgreen.com and let me know if you or anyone you know would be
interested. I am posting here because I need the work done and would rather
hire people who care about this industry. I have also met so many people
who are transitioning into green building and green consulting who do say
that they may want this type of extra work at times as they build their
businesses.. (But I lost one person back to the software industry). This
opportunity is really for someone looking for extra work on the side, who is
maybe reentering the workforce and doesn't need full time, or who wants to
just be or stay involved with this industry. We are a really small group
and we don't have full time work available in the near future. I am in
Massachusetts, but this is all flexible, online work. We can discuss rate
offline.

Thanks so much!

Allison
