Alternative Daily Cover shenanigans have a history. My favorite candidate is
shredder fluff--the junk you have left over after shredding cars. This too
can be landfilled and counted toward the recycling quota which some
jurisdictions have imposed, if you dump it at the end of the work shift. See

Both 'recycling' and 'energy efficiency' are so much in vogue because they
can mean whatever anyone wants them to. Lewis Carroll was onto some
