[Greenbuilding] FW: Hybrid Home

I'm building a hybrid house of adobe brick and regular baked brick and
mortar (and timber and recycled glass, etc).

I have two questions:

1. How do I avoid cracks where these 2 materials join? Ie; Is there a
preferable method of joining them?

2. If I use a cob/lime plaster for the adobe walls, can I use the same
plaster for the brick and mortar walls?

Thanks
