[Greenbuilding] Efficient ceiling fans

The last fan I bought had instructions that read - and I quote! - "Use EXTREME patience when installing."
Let me translate: "we realize our crappy products are poorly engineered but you'll just have to try harder instead of expecting us to redesign with the installer in mind."

My licensed electrician of 30 years had great difficulty installing it and recommended from now on I should only by Quorum  Fans. They have 426 models, many reasonable priced, all HIGH quality materials which cannot be said of the Lowe's fans I purchased and ultimately returned.
