[Greenbuilding] Attenuating the sun shining through corrugated fiberglass

I have an entryway that the previous owner made a nice wood frame and 
covered with corrugated fiberglass--sort of tiny greenhouse.  
Unfortunately in NM it gets far too hot in the summer.  What I would 
love is to find out that there is some sort of paint-on/spray-on coating 
that would act like a shade cloth and not look terribly mottled.  Shade 
cloth itself is not an answer.

If anyone knows of something or has a great idea it would be much 
appreciated.
