I am curious, why not make it visible? I labeled all my switches (with
a handheld label printer) with not only what they control, but also
which circuit breaker controls them. This has saved my lots of time,
and could possibly save me from being electrocuted.
Of course, I have been accused of being obsessive on this point, as all
my window screens are labeled, switched wall outlets are labeled, the
circuit breaker box is labeled, all the components of the heating
system are labeled... It is a lesson I took from a 'This Old House'
show where they put in a bank of 12 switches, and a year later, the
owner still couldn't remember which did what!
Thank You Kindly,
Corwyn
