Ehhh... nice try but no cookie for you.

The "instability" issue would be addressed by framing technique (which  
would include the seemingly foreign-these-days notion of proper storage of  
lumber awaiting use).

ie Lateral stiffness and potential for twisting of the relatively skinny  
members would be addressed by bridging or let-in 1x girts, the latter  
being quick and easy if all of the studs are clamped together and notched  
all at once.
