Bill,

With no significant sheathing, can this stuff withstand an airborne 2x4
wood stud projectile? I doubt it. So, yeah, it might act as structural
sheathing for the composite structure, but it won't stop the flying
debris of tornadoes and the like....

Has anyone had any experience using Dow's new SIS sheathing product?
The claim is that it functions as structural sheathing, but also as a
rain screen/vapor barrier and as insulation to stop the thermal bridging
of stick built houses. It requires a heck of a lot of nailing, but if
it works the way that they say, it will answer a lot of problems, and
remove a few layers (thus saving money and labor costs). Anyone used it
yet?

Cheers,
Bill
