[Greenbuilding] waterless urinals

I doubt it is a hoax. I know that similar issues (can) arise in the plumbing
downstream of urine separating toilets. The diameter of the drain line
through which the urine is conveyed to a urine tank must also be large
(exact diameter escapes me at the moment) for the same reasons you cite. I
have not received my urine separating toilet yet, or I could tell you lots
more.
