Can anyone tell me about the solar wall an auto paint plant in Toronto
(?) that is built as an unglazed and perforated solar collector to warm
makeup air in ventilating the paint shop?
We have a 25,000 sq ft shop/sales floor that needs high ventilation to
rid it of combustion gases, but wants to make this happen while meeting
Leed Gold standards. They are interested in recycling rain water and
solar heating it for washing very large vehicles and PV for some portion
of the electrical supply. The anticipated power supply to the building
is 3-phase 1800V, 1200amp service. Where do you begin "eating an elephant"?
Lawrence, you might be able to work in a consulting or design gig on
this one for bay and office lighting.
