[Greenbuilding] 99 percent of stuff

My impression of that statistic, which I've heard many times, is that 
it means that 95% of the materials we grow or take from the planet 
(i.e. mine, etc.) are no longer in use after 6 months. So, in my 
classes, I often say we have a 5% efficiency rate versus nature's 100%.
