We're installing LED lights in our "Zero Energy Lifestyle" efficient homes.
Several sources are available, they are considered "expensive"...but many
people own Quads and other pricey toys.

This must have been a victim of the server transfer.
Hi,
Some friends of mine are remodeling their home and they would like to know
if 'soft start' devices and dimmers reduce energy consumption for
incandescent and halogen bulbs. Also, are there alternatives to CFL bulbs
for energy efficient lighting? My personal experience with dimmers is that
they do not make any difference but I would like to hear other points of
view.
Thanks in advance and happy new year.
Curt
