Hi Carmine;

My name is "Laren"..... not Lauren......

What I saw was an fairly costly system, with long plumbing
runs, and an electric pump that requires a fancy differential
controller, and that would shut down during power outages.
With all those negatives, it still only can claim 54% efficiency.
That might be a good strategy in the deep south, where there
is no real heating season. However, in climates where space
heating is important, I don't think that we can afford such
efficiency losses, just to get to drain the tub an hour earlier.
It is more energy efficient, to simply leave the water in the
tub, during the heating season. By your own number, your
system throws away 46% of the heat, and that does not
even count the energy required to power the unnecessary
pump and control. No spite to your system. I think it is a
very good one. But this time you have stretched it beyond
its level of competence. Leaving the water in the tub until
it cools (I perfer to place a membrane over it), costs far
less, is easier, and is more energy efficient.
