     If it went into forum-only format, I would not participate.  E- 
mail I can take offline with me, and I can filter it.  It awaits my  
pleasure.  With forums, I must be online the entire time, and  
connection issues become, well, issues.

     That said, a system which did both would be fine with me, as  
long as the e-mail handling worked as least as well as now.  Yahoo!  
has that feature, though I'm not ever going to advocate migrating  
this list to Yahoo!.
