So long as you are looking for used books online get a copy of  
Handmade Houses, a Guide to the Woodbutchers art.  It has powerful  
flashback value, but once you get past the time capsule aspect it is a  
pretty interesting design idea book.  Unfortunately it will set you  
back $12.
