Back in y2k+3, CMHC tested the performance of 44 low-flow toilets and that  
report is still available from the CMHC site -- free to everyone in the  
universe if you download the PDF version, hard copy version free to  
Canadians, $12.95 to non-Canadians.

One CMHC wag (not associated with the report) mentioned that the material  
 from which the test specimens were made (miso) looked the same before and  
after passing through the human digestive tract.
