That is rather optimistic (absurd?), wouldn't you agree?

If such a switch resulted in *all* flushes being 0.8 gal instead of 1.6 gal,
then in RMI's example 28 gpd saved would result from 28/0.8 or 35
flushes/day (before and after the switch). On average, my family of three
flush a total of 6 times per day. While this is admittedly fairly low, we've
managed with this regimen for over a year now.
