I haven't experienced this particular frustration, but most email lists
don't play well with HTML.  I set my email program to send text mail by
default, and switch to HTML only when I need to send a picture or use a
font, never to the list because the list rejects that sort of thing.

In Heaven, they will give you a computer that works all the time.  In
Hell, they will also give you a computer, but it will only work 90% of
the time. Just like the ones we have here.
