PTHP? I've heard of ground source and air source, but I have no idea
what PT stands for (assuming HP stands for Heat Pump).
I believe the Fujitsu RLQ series is far and away the best heat pump on
the market right now (though I haven't been looking closely in recent
months, and these things do change!). I've been using them for several
years. They range from 9-36 kBtu, heat down to 5F without resistance,
range from 17 to 21 SEER IIRC, and are absolutely whisper silent on the
indoor unit. The outdoor unit is merely very quiet.
