Sure... about 1 Btu/F per board foot. How much mass do you need? If you
store most of the overnight heat on an average winter day with a 10 F
temp swing, that might take lots of room temp mass and mass surface, if
there isn't much insulation.

Sounds OK. How about some air heaters with 140 F shiny mass under the
ceiling? That way, you get excellent room temp control with less mass
than room temp mass, and you can have rugs on the floor. Bucky said
lighter is better.
