I am trying to figure out an alternative underslab insulation. Maybe perlite, volcanic rock, airated concrete, mineralized wood chips or the like. Looking for r-values or compressive strengths of any of these... Any ideas or suggestions out there? Best Energy, Joseph Becker www.ionecobuilding.org
