With all due respect, in my opinion, the Smart would be a really dumb
car purchase. It is incredibly ineficient for it's size and power,
very unsafe , and terribly unreliable. The MINI, has all the same
drawbacks, but to a lesser extent--and at least it's fun to drive. The
Chevy (deawoo) avea is unother bad small car. Don't get me wrong, but
why would you pay that kind of money when you could get a toyota yaris
or honda fit for the same money, or a corolla for 2k more--and get the
same gas mileage?
The only advantage i see with the Smart, is it is cute, unusual,
easy to park. Consumerreports calls the Smart "one of the worst cars
they've ever tested."
