[Greenbuilding] Whole-house electricity use display

I'd be curious about this even for apartments that ARE separately 
metered. Typically, the meter is in the basement of the building and 
not all that accessible to apartment dwellers. A whole apartment 
meter, probably attached to the circuit panel as Alan suggests, and 
easy to retrofit, would be useful.
