You will probably not achieve higher R-value.  R-value for cellulose 
(according to Krigger and Dorsi) is highest at R-4 between 1 and 2 
lb/ft^3. Dropping off to R-3.3 at 4 lb/ft^3.  Other benefits probably 
make up for it though (namely reduced air infiltration and crack 
filling).  Not sure about convection or moisture transport.
