[Greenbuilding] Natural Finishes for Wood Doors

I've been stripping paint off of old doors, restoring them, and  
finishing them with water based finishes for a number of years. I've  
had excellent results using mainstream water-based products like  
Kelley-Moore's "Kel thane II." In an effort to use more benign  
finishes and support better companies, I've been experimenting with  
different water based penetrating oils, such as AFM Naturals Clear  
Penetrating Oil, and getting mixed results. I'll be continuing my  
experimentation with them, but thought I'd float this to the list to  
see if there's anyone who's dialed in a green wood finishing oil  
that's good for both interior and exterior doors.
