As an engineer, I actually appreciate Nick's math, but only when he slows down enough for me to follow it.  Nick's previous post brought this whole "Breathing wall" into more focus than earlier posts.  Some of these were, shall we say, obfuscated with detail, which resulted in my missing some key points in the discussion buried in the details.

My tolerance for such stuff is probably higher than many who would rather not wade through it.  They can always hit the delete key if they don't want to read Nick's arcane formulae.  Nick is going to post them anyway, whether other folks like it or not, so I say "you go, man!"
