[Greenbuilding] Bond Breaker?

We coat our concrete beehive/seats/base molds with a few well rubbed and
buffed coats of carnuba wax. Be sure it is carnuba if you choose this
method, as other waxes are bees wax based and they are not as robust.

Subject: [Greenbuilding] Bond Breaker?

Hello, all.

So I'm casting some pavers. The instructions recommend coating
the inside of the forms with "bond breaker", a fluid designed to help
the concrete come away from the forms easily.

My local building supply seems to be having trouble locating any.

Is there any reason I can't use something like vegetable oil or
mineral oil? Or is there another alternative?

-Speireag.
