[Greenbuilding] Has anyone built their own storage tank?

Hi,
I've built two of this type:

I think they are fine -- easy to put together, cheap, long life.
When the liner finally does give out, you can install a new liner for 
$50 and be good for another 15 years.
They are not pretty and don't have the high tech look, but are very 
functional.

The liner in a metal hoop ones are (I think) a nice design -- basically 
the same kind of tank that STSS sells.
