Dear Roger Samson and stovers,
We also believe in Cambodia that CDM is an interesting opportunity for
Improved Stoves.
However as Roger points out, a lot of lobbying is necessary: we have to
convince buyers, but also to push for modifications of the CDM instrument
itself.

Right now it is mostly about large scale projects capping and burning
methane.
My viewpoint is that
- the ceiling of small-scale projects needs to be pushed up
- CDM rules should allow to include those of us who fight desertification in
2008. It is not the case now. In the current scenario, projects "avoiding
deforestation" might be considered for the next crediting period, i.e. after
2012.
