[Stoves] Use of the Swosthee Stove

Andrew,

I don't know if the Swothsee is one of the 20 stoves that Aprovecho will
report on in their forthcoming report, "Comparing Cookstoves"

India Institute of Science, Bangalore, claimed "32% heat utilization" for
the Swothsee. See http://bioenergylists.org/en/swosthee

One real advantage of the Swothsee is probably the continuous fuel feed that
we don't see in the batch fed metal stoves using the vortex.

The Swothsee would seem to be a natural for FAN experiments in the upcoming
Stoves Camp. I would put a variable speed fan on it and try it with natural
draft and various fan levels. High heat flux in the vortex should make it a
good candidate for a TEG powered fan.

Tom

Well remembered Tom, these seem to be vortex stoves of the type we
were discussing. Were any tests done?
