Well found Dean, the extra pictures put a bit of meat on the bones of
the design.

This was my guess also, the typical scenario which was being discussed
when I first joined the list precluded chimneys, which is why we
looked on forced draught as being a good solution of keeping the stove
short.
Since then I've been a bit undecided as to whether the extra benefits
of forced draught, largely lower CO and particulates, were worth the
complication compared with getting simple designs, like the rocket of
Crispin's vesto, in place, on the principle that "the best is the
enemy of good enough".
