Albert was a genius, highly trained in his chosen field, and he knew where
to grope.

It would appear that few of us on the Stoves List are geniuses, or highly
trained in the Stoves field. Now, we don't have to be geniuses like
Einstein, but generally speaking, those of us with a good understanding of
combustion, heat transfer, and material science are likely to make superior
contributions to the list than those of us who don't have such a background.

Very true indeed!! My "lots of learning" about wine making is not much help
to me in designing a better stove. :-) However, someone with a good
background in combustion, heat transfer and material science can make some
reasonably intelligent projections relating to stove design and operation.
Best wishes,
Kevin
