Martin, my guess would be that where the mixers would do most good
would be in the secondary combustion area. Leaving aside the fact that
anything impeding the flow to create turbulence would still cost power
from somewhere (even if this comes from a chimney effect) the mixer
would have to withstand the flame temperature and NOT conduct heat
away from the flame.
