Good work. We had tried in early 1980s this concept since we were working on
wood gasifiers and lanterns. However we gave up the idea since CO in an
enclosed environment of a rural household will be very lethal. Also the
light was not enough for studying and doing other fine work.
You might like to put a thermoluminescent mantle with the blue flame and it
will give better light.
