[Stoves] A bright idea - Wood Gas Lantern Video

Dear Alex,

I also built a wood burning lantern which should be somewhere on the Stoves
site. Does your lantern fill a glass enclosure with flame? It sounds really
great and it keeps going for so long! Congratulations. I think that lanterns
are very useful and would help reduce IAP, especially if they are attached
to a chimney.

Best,

Dean

All,

In light of all the useful work being done on and around the stoves list, I
offer a bit
of fluff,,,a woodgas lantern. Perhaps it will help new T-Luddites understand
the concept.

This latern burns orange with 4 or 5% O2 and less than 10ppm CO in the
stack,
or with extra air, the flame turns blueish and shortens (premixed) with 8%
O2 and
100ppm CO. It last around 3 hours on wood pellets.

Cheers

Alex
