Chris,

For comparison purposes, you can check out:

http://www.picotech.com/temperature-humidity.html

I think this is what Aprovecho uses or at least has used in the past.

What was the cost of the TESTO unit?

I'm interested in finding out what you learned so please do a summary when
you make a decision.

Thanks,

Bruce

Data logger for temperatures ?
I love data logger and plotting with them temperature curves ...
Unfortunately my old one dates from 1992 and works with a
"DOS"-operating system and no USB of course.
a COMARK, KM1400 Serie MkII Datalogger,
---
Want to buy a new one, came across the handsome TESTO 177-T4,
www.testo.com,
4 sensors possible, temp. max 1000°C
costs 310€, plus 90€ for software and adapter, plus 16%Tax, (for
temperature sondes I can use my old ones)
i want to use it to record temperatures on my low-cost retort kiln
(charcoal production).

Anybody has some recommendation buying something else before i spend my
money for this?
Thanks
Chris A.
