High school??? That's the way I make them now!! :-)
BTW... you can easily make a larger capacity resistor using a 2"x6" plant,
6" spikes, Coke Bottles, and a roll of #9 form wire....
Drive spikes in the plank, place Coke bottles on the spikes, and run the
iron form wire between the Insulators. Steve would be dismayed at the
ugliness. :-) The trouble with fellas like Steve is that they are so
accustomed to building stuff to UL standards, they are alert to ugly, even
if it works, and is cheap. :-)
