This comment tells me a great deal about you. In particular, that:
1: Your wife likes the finer things in life
2: You make stuff with the end objective of selling it.
3: You don't like excitement.
4: You are making money.

On the other hand, BYW's (Back Yard Wizards) usually operate on a limited
budget which iis on the wrong side of adequately funded, have wide ranging
interests, they strive for understanding, and take great pleasure
demonstrating their self-reliance and creativity by building something for
$2 when the finished product is commercially available for $1. BYW's only
bother to make stuff safe and nice looking when "The Wife", "The Grand
Children" or "The Customer" might get near their work in progress. The
Laboratory of a BYW is usually equipped with a beer cooler whose major
purpose is to encourage visitations by vocal Appreciators of
resourcefulness.

I bet your shop even has spray paint and a broom!

Best wishes,

Kevin
