[Stoves] Pedal powered fan

Dear all,

Some years ago I saw in Belgium a device to train bicycle-racing. A normal
racing-bicycle was fixed to be run steadily. The resistance which is growing
by speed was simulated by a radial-fan-like wheel, driven by the back-wheel.
That thing was a commercial product.

Certainly it is sufficient to make blow for a stove. Even if you must
generate 20 Watts mechanical power to have e.g. 3 Watts fan-power. It is
easy to do.

Regards

Martin

P.S.:

Thinking of energy saving can be strange!

If I use my TV teleguidance I save energy because I must not move my body to
the TV and return to the seat. The teleguidance needs less energy to do the
job, because there are only some ( :-) ) photons moved.

Conclusion even for stoving: The best calories are the not used calories.
