I cannot understand what it is that makes americans wish to circulate
large amounts of redundant text around the internet.

I have come to accept that wasteful behaviour is an inevitable result
of economic wealth and cultural dominance and may well be a subliminal
symbol to show the world the ability to indulge in largesse but please
explain why you wish everyone on this list to see multiple copies of
old posts?

In the context of this list where is the logic in it?
