Dear Frans
You bring up a good point. There are many different names for various fuel
cuts from oil. I also think it would be helpful if these were clarified and
categorized in relation to their general formulas. Other fuel categories
that could be included for sake of completeness might be:
Bunker
Bunker C
#6 Oil
Furnace oil
Stove Oil
Fuel oil
Lamp oil
Naphtha
#1 Oil
#2 Oil
Diesel fuel
Kerosene
Kerosine?
Gasoline
These are terms I run into as a Canadian.
Your terms include:
Parafin
Paraffin?
Kerosin
Petrol
Petroleum
Benzin
NAFTA
Diezel
Mazout
Perhaps somebody would already know a URL for a Table that showed the names
of the various oil cuts around the World?
Best wishes,
Kevin
