Dear Paul'n'All

I think it would be wise to present any prize to the stove that is the best 
on offer rather than to have a 'no winner this year'.  Everything can be 
improved so it is good to have something to be taken as a baseline for next 
year.

For the most part, stoves are far from optimised so whatever is assessed to 
be the best, perhaps even based on criteria that are unknown beforehand, can 
get the votes.  If someone develops a new and perhaps radical concept in 
cooking the 'judges' can simply award recognition saying why they liked it.
