Dear,
 
    Coral , shells ,marmor , mergel are most carbonates .
( Dissolves in hydrochloric acid )(SILICATES do not dissolve )
CaCO3 -------800° C ------> CaO +CO2 .
Usefull for agricultur 30-5 Kg/are. CaO
Usefull : CaO as glue ( concrete like ) with 80% sand  SiO2 or Pumice
CaSiO3 =a silicate.
Ceramic is based on 10 % Aluminium and silicate .
With your materials ,you must stay with cold hardening ceramic . 80 %
pumice + 20 % CaO + H20 . / 20- 150 °C
You can test it .
