Dear Tom Miles,

Thank you, Yes I had seen the work of Crispin's Lion Rocket Stove with brick
construction. Yes it stimulated my thinking. Traditionally the community in
our villages need two chambers for cooking simultaneously, secondly they
don't want to leave any space against the wall. Thirdly these stoves should
be small to support cooking for a family of 5 to 8 members. I was more
concerned about the communities acceptance of the stove, which should be as
per their convinence. Therefore this design emerged. In the last two days, I
was in the project villages. The response from community for these stoves
was overwhelming. With their participation we have constructed total 9
stoves. They are happy with their performance.

I would like to acknowledge each and every person involved in the
development of stoves for poor people. Bioenergy lists is of great help to
me to know where I stand, and what to do next.

With regards,

Dr. N. Sai Bhaskar Reddy

Creative design. It looks like you were inspired by Crispin's Lion rocket

Subject: [Bioenergy] Rocket stove model - request for suggestions and advice

Dear Mr. Tom Miles

Once again thanking you for posting the http://e-woodgasstove.blogspot.com/.
<http://e-woodgasstove.blogspot.com/> The suggestions received till now
were very valuable and helped me to improve the presentation and content. I
am also working on different models of rocket stoves with community
participation in rural areas. One of the latest stove is named as "Good
Stove". I am requesting you to please go through the content and advice me.
Because these stoves will be adopted by the community in two villages on
pilot basis and any improvements would benefit them.

The earlier model is a single stove http://e-stoves.blogspot.com/ which
community doesnt like much.

Thanking you,

With regards,
