Stovers,

The Biomass Cooking Stoves list website www.bioenergylists.org
<http://www.bioenergylists.org/> has now been online three weeks. We've had
visitors from 59 countries and 1 "satellite". Recurrent visitors account for
about 45% of the total. Many visitors are spending long periods on the site
even after three weeks.

New on the site:

Alexis Belonio shows a rice husk burning furnace for recirculating type
paddy dryers. (Larry Winiarski also built a rice husk burning furnace a
couple of years ago using an inclined grate.)

John Flottvik (JF Waste Energy Systems) show us pictures of his newest pilot
pyrolysis facility.

Crispin Pemberton-Pigott shows us Joao's Clay Vesto stove in Maputo.

There are links to Lanny Hensons's Simple Grate and Tin Can Chimney

We've added a place for a collaborative book on stove construction. We
should be able to assemble a coherent set of information on stove
construction topics. We'll link to the excellent Design Principles book so
we don't need to repeat that information. This is just an effort to collect
the experience from list participants in an organized document that can be
accessed and used by anyone. If you login you should be able to add to the
book by selecting, "Create Content" and "Book Page". We're just learning how
to do this so we'll build the contents, topics and chapters as we go. If you
have a chapter, theme or topic you wan to develop let us know and we'll add
it to the book outline. The you can submit it when you're ready.

Regards,

Tom Miles
